Whenever I had time I had a couple of weeks "vacation at the west coast" of the United States and Canada. Travelling along the coast it was a pleasure to stay in "bed and breakfast" - it's like a home away from home. In most bed and breakfasts you get a very special service and complimentary extras like complimentary afternoon tea, sherry or cookies, you also find friends when talking to the innkeepers and other guests. But most I liked their hairy family members on four paws - like Captain Nemo in San Francisco, Bobby in Seattle and Buffy in Kodiak. The following links consist mostly of Bed and Breakfast Inns I visited during the last years and where I found "a home away from home".
